Josefina Maiza, founder of Dysomnia Studio, is a Chilean integral designer based in Madrid. Distinguished for her clean-cut style and a digital tech approach, she provides services across creative & art direction, set design, production and graphic design. Her practice and experimentation with objects and materials are the main inspiration to generate her own visual narratives, which has been translated both in her personal projects and in the commercial and editorial projects she has worked on. Some of her projects have led her to receive international recognition in different contests and festivals, being the winner of Fashion Comms category on Arts Threads contest in collaboration with Gucci "Global Graduate Design Show 2022".

She has worked in various parts of the world such as Chile, Mexico, England and Spain, producing and directing creative projects of different scales. Some of her featured clients include magazines such as Número, Lampoon, Paper Magazine, Elle, Marie Claire, Fucking Young and Metal and also brands like WOW Concept, Suot Studio, Waste Epiphany, Lorenza Bas, Casa Moda, Muth Boutique and others.
